On May 6, 2025 (6th of Saur, 1404), the first consultative meeting of the Afghan National Dialogue, "Meli Maraka," was held in the city of Berlin with the participation of numerous political figures, cultural personalities, civil activists, experts, and media representatives.

This meeting was hosted by the National Axis party and was organized to create an independent, inclusive, and nationally coordinated process for peace, unity, and progress in Afghanistan.

At the beginning of the session, Dr. Khushal Rouhi, one of the organizers of the Meli Maraka, presented information about the goals, responsibilities, and procedures of this process.

Following this, significant discussions were held in several parts on the objectives, principles, conditions of the national dialogue, as well as on the country's main problems, priorities, and solutions.

Participants emphasized the need for a genuine and impartial national dialogue and stressed the effective role of media, civil society activists, and the intellectual class in accelerating the peace process and restoring national trust.

The attendees considered the issue of women's rights in Afghanistan and the ongoing tragedy of refugees in Pakistan and Iran to be very serious. They called on all relevant parties to give serious attention and make efforts to solve these problems.

The meeting was held in an open and friendly atmosphere, and it was decided that the collected results of the participants' views would be systematically organized and shared with future national dialogue meetings in other cities.

In the end, all participants in the meeting committed to accompanying the national dialogue process, taking on practical responsibilities, and continuing the Meli Maraka series in Berlin.

All media outlets were also requested to strengthen the spirit of unity among Afghans by documenting and accurately reflecting this national process.
