Mili Mehwar; The Call for Awakening and Rebirth

For more than half a century, Afghanistan has grappled with a maelstrom of crisis, war, and successive invasions. Although our people created epics in the battlefield and repeatedly defeated the invaders, in the political arena they failed to safeguard independence, institutionalize peace, and establish a just and responsible system for the nation's prosperity.

Over these years, various systems and ideologies were tested, but all ended in failure under the shadow of force, monopoly, and extremism. The country remains trapped in ignorance, corruption, disunity, and dependency.

We believe that the salvation of a nation is not possible solely through sacrifice in the battlefield; it requires awareness, cohesion, strong national institutions, and wise and committed leadership. Unfortunately, over the past half-century, not only was no fundamental work done in this regard, but national values were trampled upon and the nation was driven toward lines of division.

Following the collapse of the republic, although the flames of war were extinguished, poverty, insecurity, power monopoly, extremism, human rights violations, and hostility towards women made life more difficult for the people and threatened national interests.

In the midst of this, some powerful individuals and mafia groups once again resorted to trading in blood and are seeking to ignite another war.

Under such circumstances, there was a need for conscientious and responsible Afghans to unite around justice, freedom, and national unity and establish a national movement that enjoys the support of the people and has the ability to defend the country's interests.

Based on this, a number of committed and patriotic figures founded the "National Axis" in 2016 (1395); a popular, strategic, and long-term movement that, with firm steps, strives to train sound cadres and provide wise leadership.

Today, with reliance on the nation's support, the sincerity of its members, and the help of God, the National Axis is ready to put an end to the country's endless crises and realize the nation's historical aspirations for independence, peace, and prosperity.

We call on our people to emerge from the cycle of despair and complaint, to join the National Axis, and to fulfill their human, Islamic, and national responsibility through unity, awareness, and peaceful struggle.

And my success is not but through Allah. Upon Him I have relied, and to Him I return.
